It is favoured amongst artists for its quality and suitability for watercolour, ink, calligraphy, printmaking and more. It can take plenty of washes as it has been sized for consistent absorbency.

This 'Grain Satiné' (or satin-grained) block has been hot pressed and is very smooth.
