Wow! We did it, Choosing Keeping has its own Made in Japan notebook.
Here we have chosen 78g paper in an off-white colour - thin, but not too thin to shadow, this paper is smooth and silky. Following the classic Japanese styling (and Japanese sizing) common to many 20th century notebooks, we decided to incorporate the side label, a nod to Showa era design, but in vibrant colours, a little twist on the original. Sewn-bound, this notebook is strong; it also opens flat throughout, another important functional detail for any seasoned writer. Finally, something a bit more of a personal design preference whereĀ small is beautiful; that means a tight line, a 1mm grid.... something petite and fine to reflect our taste for sophistication - not forgetting the friendly swallow, our shop mascot, always there to inspireĀ hopeĀ on every page.
