Historical Playing Tarot Cards, Alpine Pattern

A faithful reproduction of a historical Tarot playing deck of cards in quaint style referencing the Tirol Alpine region from 1889 and illustrating its beautiful mountain refuges. 

This deck includes numbers 1-10, an ace, three male face cards, Jack, Cavalier and King and a Queen per each suit, as well as 21 trump cards and Joker

A natural progression for our shop and our love of paper, given the parallel narrative between card manufacturing and decorative paper making both utilising the craft knowledge of woodblock print.
